Turn//On Your Love Light
I offered to help Jim with this to see if I could fix up some of the problems that occur due to tape degradation. It happens in the left channel from around 10:32 of "Dark Star" through to the cut in "Love Light" There is a noted drop in the overall levels for much of the time and some sections that just sounded very scratchy due to the loss of audio information from the tape.
What I've done is copy and paste with level adjustments made by various methods, using iZotope Ozone RX4 Advanced. I found the easiest way to deal-with the really bad sections was to first clean up the left channel a little then copy the right-channel into it (a matrix). Then I made level adjustments. So what you end up with is a slightly different mix to the original recording but also something that is very listenable.
I also removed a couple of clicks earlier in the show but haven't kept a note of where they were, and other level adjustments have been as well.
There is a power failure after they play "Hard To Handle" and another during "Morning Dew" which causes it to completely break down.

Brilliant Dark Star 🌟
After some heavy emotional up and downs to the set due to technical difficulties. This Dark Star has that extra energy that was torn from them due to technical difficulties. The sets entire closing medley is special during a brilliant time for them.

Not as good as the previous recording
Simply compare the St. Steven track with SHNid # 1336. This recording has LOADS of interference, making it nearly unlistenable.

to balance it out...
Thanks SIRMick & Jim. I don't hear a problem other than an occasional over-saturation that probably occurs in the master.
...prime '69 goodness here....

Nothing is fixed, dude.
Whatever adjustments have been made has resulted in horrible, unlistenable diginoise from about 14:00 into Dark Star onwards, AKA the best part of the show. It takes the form of shrieking metallic doubling of Garcia's guitar 2 octaves up and never quits for the next 3 songs. Going to listen to the other version in case it's any better.
It is a little better actually, but not much.
Since the part of the recording that isn't fraught with tape degradation and the ill effects of later modifications is nevertheless fraught with live technical problems and shoddy playing, this is basically a bad cut.
